Office 365 is
a subscription based software service which also offers cloud-based services
along with desktop applications. Desktop applications include professional
email, shared calendars, IM, Web conferencing and many more. There is office
20XX, a suite of desktop applications which are not subscription based and do
not carry any monthly fees. These fees are paid to Microsoft Corporation.
There are different subscription plans. Depending on these
subscription plans, office 365 can
include subscription to office 20XX, desktop applications and Microsoft’s
server products which are accessed over the internet which is the next version
of Business Productivity Online Suite.
